Xbox Series X has a hidden feature you’ve definitely never noticed

It's very well-designed

The Xbox Series X has a very clever built-in feature to keep it healthy and functioning for the long-term.

Gaming consoles nowadays are filled to the brim with advanced technology, and yet most of it goes unnoticed as it’s all happening in the background.

The Xbox Series X is no exception to that, it’s a very good console

The Xbox Series X has one feature though that’s incredibly underrated, and something many fans have praised over the years it’s been released.

That feature is the console’s ability to keep itself cool during those long gaming sessions, so much so that it barely makes any noise when it’s switched on.

Fans have praised the console’s ability to stay silent for a while, with plenty of threads saying out of everything the console has going for it, its best feature is “the silence... I've pushed it to the limit multiple times and never heard a thing.”

“I store my console in a media unit with big doors” read another account. “I always have it open when I play games. Except one time for some weird reason I forgot. The Xbox didn't like that and I only realised because I could hear it. Once I opened up the door though after realising it took about 30 seconds to cool down enough to go back to being dead quiet, quite impressive really. It also didn't feel that hot even when it was loud so it's clearly quite efficient.”

The PlayStation 5 is also pretty silent to be fair, most new consoles are, which is great for those late nights when you don’t want the sound of a fighter jet blaring from your home entertainment system… I’m looking at you PlayStation 4.

I hope the same can be said about the new Nintendo Switch 2, I don’t know about anyone else but my Nintendo Switch can cause quite a racket every now and again.
