There’s a major deal going on at Currys right now that could bag you an Xbox Series X console for just £169. Of course, there’s a bit of a catch to the bargain, but if you’re in the market then this is well worth checking out.

The Xbox Series X is Microsoft’s powerhouse sporting all the bells and whistles of this latest generation of consoles, providing a performance that has to be seen to be believed.

Games, films, the Xbox Series X can do it all.

To get your hands on an Xbox Series X you’ll need to also buy yourself a new TV. An LG OLED model called the C3. It’s also a gorgeous piece of hardware that would surely look amazing in your living room. Buying the two together grants you a discount on the Xbox bringing the total for the purchase to £1,068, saving over £300 across the two products. It’s a pretty sweet deal to get you playing the latest games.

Of course, once you’ve snagged yourself an Xbox Series X, it’s well worth getting yourself a subscription to Xbox Game Pass which allows you to play hundreds of games for a monthly or yearly subscription price. You could be playing the latest Forza racing titles, along with the flagship title, Halo Infinite, in no time at all.

The Xbox Series X is a great console with a stunning line-up of games that can offer anything to any player, whether you’ve been gaming for years, or are new to the hobby. Not only do the games look beautiful, but they sound epic too. One minute you can be blowing up alien spaceships, the next you can load up a 4K Blu-ray of your favourite film. It’s the perfect centrepiece for your home entertainment setup and now is the best time to buy.
