Xbox gamers can check out a gorgeous, massive RPG for free right now

Time for an adventure!

RPGs are such wonderful ways to escape from our humdrum lives and immerse ourselves in massive new worlds.

Arguably, this is why such a popular RPG being free to play right now on Xbox is such glorious news.

We appreciate that a lot of your time is likely being invested in Bandai Namco’s Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. However, if you can tear yourselves away for a minute, you’ll find another Bandai gem here.

Check out the trailer for Tales of Arise to see what all the fuss is about

Tales of Arise is a 2021 released game that has a similar art style to the Persona series during its cutscenes.

“300 years of tyranny. A mysterious mask. Lost pain and memories. Wield the Blazing Sword and join a mysterious, untouchable girl to fight your oppressors. Experience a tale of liberation, featuring characters with next-gen graphical expressiveness!”

A world filled with new foes to vanquish will keep you busy as you try to navigate the sprawling map of this experience.

This highly rated Steam title is described as being the closes Bandai has come to “making a masterpiece.”

For those of you who prefer consoles over PC, you can download the demo for Tales of Arise right now.

You won’t be able to play the entire game for free, however, you’ll be able to play a “portion” of it; that’s more than long enough for you to decide if you like it or not.

Of course, if you have Xbox Game Pass, you can play it from start to finish without dishing out extra cash. Huzzah!

Otherwise, you’ll be paying £34.99. Still, at least you can try before you buy; that’s always a nice little bonus, especially for such a brilliant game.

There doesn’t appear to be a time limit on the demo. Still, to be on the safe side, we’d get playing sooner rather than later just in case.

Besides, who wants to wait around when a gorgeous RPG is waiting to be played? Fools, that’s who. Don’t be a fool.
