Games come and go on subscription services - it’s one of the downsides of modern gaming, as everything feels so fleeting.
The next game to exit Xbox Game Pass is the multiplayer title, Party Animals.
A recent addition to Xbox Game Pass is the devilishly cute and difficult Nine Sols.
I had a lot of fun with this one. My kids and I enjoyed the wobbly physics of the animals, and the overall visual design was super cute.

Party Animals is part of the trend that saw multiplayer games emerge from the fashion of having goofy characters fight or work together while hampered by physics.
It worked on many levels because you’d be battling against a friend or family member, whacking them with a frying pan - which is hilarious enough - and your dog or cuddly critter would be all over the place, like a toddler hyped up on E-numbers.
It’s a bit niche, but it had its place, and it was enjoyed by many.
Sadly, the game will be leaving Xbox Game Pass on 31 December.

Though, at least you can play it over the Christmas holiday and make sure to wallop your gran while she cackles over the silly little animals.
Party Animals came to the Xbox service on the day of release and was one of the better games added in 2023.
However, as mentioned above, these games are transient and can leave at any moment.
It might be a favourite you revisit over months, or a gem that you’ve been putting off playing until the time is right, but they all depart sooner or later.

There is a rumour that the game will come to PlayStation, however, many players have noticed a stark drop-off in players over the months.
Well, it seems every dog has its day and this dog, while armed with a tennis racquet, is heading off into the sunset.
