Xbox gamers can claim a full free game, no strings attached, but you only have one month to make it yours. So you'd better act fast to avoid missing out.
The game in question is Tell Me Why from developer Don’t Nod and it includes all three chapters. You don’t even need to subscribe to Xbox Game Pass because it’s free for everyone in celebration of Pride Month this June, instead of its full £14.99 RRP.
Don’t Nod has given us the likes of Life is Strange, Life is Strange 2, Banishers: Ghosts of Eden and more recently, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage. So if you’re a fan of the developer's form of interactive storytelling, then Tell Me Why might be your cup of tea.

“In this intimate mystery, reunited twins Tyler and Alyson Ronan use their supernatural bond to unravel the memories of their loving but troubled childhood,” reads the synopsis of Tell Me Why.
“Set in beautiful small-town Alaska, Tell Me Why features true-to-life characters, mature themes and gripping choices. As you conjure up memories of the past, your choices will affect the twins’ relationship, determine the strength of their bond, and shape the course of their lives.”
Tell Me Why has received good to mixed reviews on the aggregate website Metacritic, with scores of 78 from critics and 5.8 from the audience. However, with it being a free full game, if it’s not your cup of tea, you might only feel short-changed by your time spent with the game.
Tell Me Why is typically free every Pride Month, so if you miss out this year, there’s always June 2026 to claim this freebie. It’s also currently on Xbox Game Pass, so there is that.
