Act now to avoid missing out

It’s always nice to have some good freebies especially when it comes with a personal touch, but you better act fast if you want to grab this Xbox drop.

Nowadays, there are loads of ways to implement a personal touch to your favourite console controllers with the likes of the SCUF for PC, PlayStation and Xbox. However, Microsoft also offers its own custom controller courtesy of Xbox Design Lab.

Check out the Xbox Design Lab trailer below!

In a nutshell, the Xbox Design Lab lets you customise your official Xbox controller to your heart's content and the customisation also extends to the premium Elite controller. The Xbox Design Lab offers a variety of colours to choose from which can be applied to the face of the controller, the rear and all of its buttons, analogue sticks and the D-Pad.

“Customise the features of your Xbox Wireless Controller even more with metallic finishes for the textured triggers and hybrid d-pad, plus rubberised grips,” reads the description of Xbox Design Lab. “See where inspiration takes you and create a personalised controller that is uniquely yours.”

Right now, you can even choose to have an awesome Fallout design featuring everyone’s favourite Vault Dweller, Vault Boy. If there was a flaw with the Xbox Design Lab, it's that it doesn't offer complete freedom when it comes to choosing colours as you have to select from a batch of designs, but it’s still neat nonetheless.

However, if you create your own personal Xbox controller right now with Xbox Design Lab, you can have it engraved for free. So whether you want your Xbox gamer tag or if you’re buying the controller as a gift, this is a nice touch to take advantage of.

That being said, you need to act fast now to avoid missing out, because the free engraving offer ends tomorrow on Friday, 31 May 2024. After which, it will cost you around £10 to add that personal touch.
