Xbox is home to many freebies, some that come as part of an Xbox Game Pass subscription, and others that offer up lovely little trials of new games.

Three new demos have made their way onto Xbox this week, all of which are worth your time - you never know, you might find a new favourite game.

Three new demos await on Xbox for you

You don’t need Xbox Game Pass to access any of these trials, so you can head on over to the Xbox store and download them now.

First up, we’ve got Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree, a new 2.5D Soulslike, where you’ll hack and slash your way through swarms of enemies.

Part metroidvania, part soulslike, players venture into a world of magic and danger, in a story written by acclaimed creator, Brian Mitsoda.

The team has constructed a “painterly” world for you to explore, and master all the skills at your disposal.

Antro, is a neat little game that utilises music as your guide through an underground city, overcoming obstacles and puzzles blocking your path.

The darkness underneath Barcelona is your home, as the world crumbles around you, and your fight for survival is accompanied by a banging hip-hop soundtrack.

Lastly, there’s the RPG, Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land - which is quite the mouthful.

The newest entry in the long-running series, this seems a great jumping on point for new players who want to escape into an anime styled world.

This demo covers the opening act of the story, but in a unique way, not to be seen in the full game.

The adventure takes place in a world where alchemy is considered ‘taboo’ and our hero has to uncover the mysteries surrounding it.

Sounds like three interesting games to check out, and if you enjoy them, the full games will be available on the Xbox store.
