Xbox Drops 37 Free Game Downloads In Bumper New Event

Time to celebrate some indie titles

In an attempt to shine light on a bunch of incredible indie games coming out soon, Xbox is hosting an event courtesy of its ID@Xbox programme.

This year has been further proof that indie games are not to be underestimated with titles such as Blue Prince, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Ball x Pit, and more standing shoulder-to-shoulder with AAA releases.

With indie developers pushing the boundaries of gaming on a smaller budget, more studios are giving them the room to shine and that is most certainly the aim of Xbox’s latest event.

Designed to highlight upcoming indies, The ID@Xbox Indie Selects Demo Fest is now live and will allow players to check out 37 demos from indie studios around the world.

Available on Xbox, PC, and handheld, each demo is free to check out from now until 31 December before they are removed from the Xbox store ahead of their full launch.

However, with many of the games showcased being in the early stages of development, players should expect some minor issues.

That being said, this is the perfect way to give developers some feedback in the meantime.

“Most demos represent early builds and may differ from the final release, including regional availability, as developers continue polishing their games,” Xbox declares.

With plenty of genres covered, from simulators to horror, narrative adventures to roguelikes, you are guaranteed to find something which will end up taking up even more of your wishlist.

So without further ado, here are the 37 indie demos that will take center stage at The ID@Xbox Indie Selects Demo Fest:
