As the weekend is within touching distance, Xbox’s Free Play Days have returned.

If you’re not familiar with the event, every weekend, Xbox users can access a line-up of free games for a limited time; some require a Game Pass subscription and others don’t.

This latest line-up is great for those who fall into the latter category as there are three games included for those without Game Pass.

Let’s begin with the AAA hit that likely lured you here.

All Xbox users can now access Rare’s Sea of Thieves: 2025 Edition completely free of charge.

From now until Tuesday 24 March at 8pm UTC, you can take to the seas in this popular live-service title.

Sea of Thieves, if you don’t know, is a sandbox game where players step into the shoes of a pirate, sailing, exploring, and plundering their way across the high seas.

The title is running a concurrent offer if you want to extend your play past Tuesday. Sea of Thieves: 2025 Edition will currently set you back $19.99 instead of $39.99.

Alternatively, you may want to try Trailmakers, a vehicle building game from Flashbulb.

Trailbreakers,
Flashbulb

You’ll essentially create a vehicle using LEGO-esque blocks and then explore a sprawling open-world.

It’s a very highly reviewed game and is available until Sunday 22 March. If you want to continue playing, it’s on offer for $23.99 instead of $29.99.

The third and final game that’s free for all is Firefighting Simulator: Ignite which is exactly what it sounds like. You can step into the shoes of a firefighter.

It’s also free to play until the end of Sunday 22 March and is on offer for $23.99 instead of $39.99.

Game Pass Subscribers Can Access Two Additional Freebies

If you do happen to have a Game Pass subscription to any tier, you have access to an additional two freebies. Again, these are available from now until the end of Sunday.

The first is the very silly and fun Totally Reliable Delivery Service. You can team up with up to four friends in this as you attempt to pull off deliveries whilst contenidng with hilarious ragdoll physics.

You’ll need to make use of odd machinery, useful gadgets, and more. It provides for a fun time, plus you can secure it for a mere $2.99 instead of $14.99.

Finally, you can check out Hell Let Loose with Game Pass too.

There’s no offer on picking this one up but you should, over the weekend, be able to get a feel for what this 2021 FPS has to offer.

Set within WWII, Hell Let Loose features 100-player battles “that include infantry, tanks, artillery and a dynamically shifting front line – be ready for combat on a whole new scale”.

As Free Play Days is a limited time event, I’d dive in sooner rather than later if anything here appeals to you.
