Xbox has just quietly added seven games to play on Game Pass.

One of the benefits of playing on Xbox Game Pass is being able to access hundreds of games for a small monthly fee.

Back in June, we reported that Xbox had added five new games to the Retro Classics app available with Game Pass, and it seems that seven more have just been added.

If you boot up the Xbox Retro Classics app now on your Xbox or Windows PC, you’ll be greeted with seven new games to play:

  • Caesar
  • Conquests of Camelot: The Search for the Grail
  • Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers
  • Hard Head
  • Okie Dokie
  • Skate Boardin'
  • Skeleton+

This won’t be the last of the games we’ll see added to Xbox Retro Classics, either. The app’s developer, Antstream, has expressed plans to add over 100 games to the app in the coming months.

If you’re unaware of what it is, Retro Classics does exactly as it says on the tin. It’s an app available with Xbox Game Pass memberships which gives you access to dozens of classic retro games from the ‘80s and ‘90s.

This includes games like Zork, Mechwarrior, and Space Quest. The kinds of games your dad might have played when he was younger.

It’s a good chance to relive those days if you haven’t touched an Atari 2600 in decades, or if you’re a younger gamer curious about where it all started.

These games might seem dated at first glance, but they’re worth checking out and may even win you over.

Xbox Retro Classics also includes achievements, challenges, and online high-score leaderboards if that interests you, so you can compete and share progress with other players online.

It’s available now with any subscription to Xbox Game Pass, which begins at £6.99 a month for the Core tier.
