It’s that time again. Free Play Days has returned on Xbox.
Free Play Days, if you’re not familiar, is a weekly event which sees several games made free to enjoy for a limited period of time, albeit with an annoying twist.
While occasionally, there’s a title included in the Free Play Days line-up that is genuinely free to all, most require an Xbox Game Pass subscription so no, it’s not the most aptly titled event.
Unfortunately, the latest drop of free games all require a Game Pass subscription. The good news is that it doesn’t matter whether you belong to the essential, premium or ultimate tier.

This drop sees Xbox partner with 2K Games, with all titles available to try for free from now until end of play on Sunday 8 February.

As I said, you only have until the end of the weekend to enjoy these games for free - with a valid Xbox Game Pass subscription - so I’d dive in sooner rather than later.
