If you’re at a loss what to do this weekend, Xbox has just added five games you can check out for free.

Quite a few Xbox gamers are in need of something to cheer them up after learning that a game they’ve waited years for has been cancelled.

To say that they’re heartbroken is an understatement.

Have you watched the Ace Attorney Investigations Collection trailer yet?

We’re not saying that these five free games will mend your broken hearts, but they’ll definitely help keep you busy.

Here are the five titles vying for your attention this weekend:

  • Ace Attorney Investigations Collection - Do you want to deal with the injustices in this world? Then this is the way to do it. Experience what it’s like to take charge in the courtroom and on the streets collecting evidence.
  • Shogun Showdown - Combining both deck-building and rogue-like elements, this strategy game will test your mental resolve as you prepare for the final showdown.
  • Mexico, 1921: A Deep Slumber - This narrative-driven action experience has a curious century-old mystery at the heart of its tale. Can you solve it, though?
  • Shadow of the Ninja – Reborn - A remake of a classic two player title is ready for you to explore its “dark and futuristic” environment as you show off your skills as a ninja.
  • Eden Genesis - It’s time to get platforming in this “fast-paced” game that’s filled with various trials, as well as a “rich story” to immerse yourself in.

These five freebies aren’t the full games, we’re sorry to say.

Still, while you don’t get the full games, these demos offer you more than enough time for you to decide whether you like what’s on offer.

There’s also plenty of other demos to check out if you want to, be that because you don’t like the above selection, or you crave further entertainment.

Your weekend is sorted thanks to Xbox.
