Oh Starfield, I do love you and your many secrets. Just when I think I know this game, someone offers up a handy new trick - some intentionally crafted by Bethesda, others not so much.

While, yes, Starfield is a tad light on the tutorials, it does lead to an exciting sense of discovery and exploration. It’s easy to see why the game is already Bethesda’s most successful launch of all-time, with over 6,000,000 players already. Just this morning I learnt that you can get almost all mining resources from the UC Distribution centre for super cheap, if you don’t want to bother with mining. You’re welcome. Elsewhere, one player has shared a helpful exploration trick, while another shared advice on building an invincible ship. Today though, I bring you a very funny unlimited loot glitch.

Take a look at our video review of Starfield below.

The glitch was spotted by Twitter user JamieMoranUK. He wrote, “Wow. If you go to Akila City, look in a puddle in front of the store Shepherds. You can get all of the store’s inventory for FREE. Make bank, wait 24 hours and do it all over again.” In the accompanying clip, you can see Jamie bagging tons of great loot, including various ammo types, healing items, and crafting resources.

WOW

If you go to Akila City, look in a puddle in front of the store, Shepherds.

You can get all the store’s inventory for FREE.

Of course, bagging all of this loot in one go is likely to make you extremely encumbered, so you’re likely going to have to slowly stroll to the nearest vendor. Thankfully, Jamie noted that you can actually sell it back to the vendor you just stole it all off.

Clearly, this is a bug and I’d imagine Bethesda will have spotted it already in order to start working on a patch so if you do want to take advantage, I’d try to do so as soon as possible.
