Xbox Game Pass has revealed the next titles arriving to the service and it seems as though Call of Duty fans may want to renew that subscription.

Added to “wave two” of its October Game Pass library, Xbox has added eight new titles to its extensive library of games.

Alongside South Park: The Fractured but Whole, Donut County, MechWarrior 5: Clans, Ashen and Dead Island 2, there are also three Call of Duty titles available.

This includes: Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone.

These titles will join Game Pass for Ultimate subscribers via cloud on 25 October and give fans the chance to catch up on the most recent entries in the much-loved series.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III was released back in November of last year and was met with an influx of negative reviews.

This was mainly due to its campaign being called “the worst Call of Duty campaign of all time”.

The campaign was criticised for being too short, especially considering its high price tag and its Skill-Based Matchmaking also left a lot to be desired.

However, Call of Duty: Warzone, the F2P entry has been met with critical success since it was first launched back in 2020.

It still maintains a decent player base to this day, as well as receiving regular updates and patches by Infinity Ward.

However, the one we are all looking forward to is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 which is set to launch on 25 October, and so will be added to the Xbox Game Pass on day one.

This is the next instalment in the Call of Duty franchise and the twenty-first entry all together.

So if you are eager to get stuck into Black Ops 6 on day one or want to catch up with the series so far, make sure you have your Xbox Game Pass subscription at the ready later this month.
