The Elder Scrolls VI still feels like it’s years away at this point, and while it’s probably not as far off as we’d think the wait is still unbearable.

Fear not though, as for the time being it seems fans are still content with replaying The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim to pass the time, and there’s a fantastic expansion for the game coming in March.

While we’re not expecting a launch, we’re at least hoping for another trailer aside from this teaser for The Elder Scrolls VI this year

Expansions for Skyrim are no surprise nowadays as the modding community has cranked out loads throughout the game’s life.

This one is special though, as Skyrim: Lordbound looks like it’s going to be one of the biggest yet, rumoured to be twice the size of Solstheim, the island added for the Dragonborn DLC.

It’s comparable to Fallout: London which made headlines last year, though hopefully it’ll have a smoother launch…

You can find a trailer for the expansion on YouTube, but the plot centers around travelling to the Valley of Druadach, for a quest so grand it might as well have been made by Bethesda itself.

It’s clear a lot of work has gone into it, as it’ll reportedly add the new region mentioned earlier, new factions with their own questlines to follow, some side quests, new weapons/armour to equip and of course some dungeons to explore.

Add on the fact that it’ll be free-to-play and I’m sure Skyrim fans are going to be thrilled when it drops later this year.

At the time of writing it’s still scheduled for release sometime in March, but an exact date hasn’t been provided yet so you’ll just have to sit tight for updates.

Will you be playing Skyrim: Lordbound? You might as well while we’re still waiting for official Elder Scrolls VI news.
