Despite a significant lack of updates about The Elder Scrolls VI, its first trailer has greatly impacted the fandom.

Even though we’ve yet to see an official trailer beyond its 2018 teaser, that hasn’t stopped fans from planning ahead.

The Elder Scrolls VI fandom is so captivated by the allure of that first trailer that some are attempting to do what we assumed was impossible in order to mark the occasion.

They're going to try to avoid any information about the game once “Bethesda starts promoting it”, of course.

Redditor GdSmth is the brave soul looking to attempt such a feat.

“Will try as much as possible to avoid all official trailers, pictures, articles, anything, no matter how basic it's – as if there is no news about the game yet,” they explained.

“[It] won't be easy, but I did some practice when Starfield released last year, and when Shattered Space released this year, and I believe it's doable.”

Such determination is admirable.

Elder Scrolls fans aren’t sure the OP can pull this off, but they wish them look regardless.

“I wish I could do this, but I'm not going to kid myself,” commented Minute_Engineer2355, “Good luck OP, I think it will be a much richer experience if you can pull it off.”

Others, while they wouldn’t call such a plan “crazy” like the OP did, are concerned that this tactic sets them up for disappointment.

“How smart is it to hype yourself up this much with this game? It feels like a formula to be let down brutally,” suggested gavinjobtitle.

Even if they somehow avoid the frustration others are feeling about the gap between Skyrim and The Elder Scrolls VI, they could still end up annoyed if the game isn’t what they’d hoped.

But first the OP needs to successfully avoid spoilers, which will prove difficult once it’s full steam ahead for Bethesda.
