Steam users have last chance to grab $50 free store credit

With the festive holidays coming up, it is the perfect time to get your hands on some epic video game titles. Luckily for you, Steam users now have the chance to get their hands on $50 free store credit courtesy of a Twitter giveaway.

2023 has been a year full of incredible video game releases and it shows no signs of letting up. With everything from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 with Diablo 4 and Baldur’s Gate 3 in between, this year is set to go down as one of the best gaming years of all time. However, with video game prices rising year on year, getting your hands on the latest releases is harder than ever before.

Check out the launch trailer for Dave the Diver below!

Despite subscription services such as Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus available to cut down on costs, sometimes you just can’t beat a good old fashioned giveaway. Luckily, one Twitter account is giving away a $50 free store credit for all Steam users. To enter, all you have to do is head to this link and follow the steps to enter. The rules include following some accounts as well as wishlisting Rocket on Steam and the standard retweet and like. You have until 3 November to enter so don’t miss out!

Thanks to an exciting year of releases, $50 can get you access to some of the highest-rated games on Steam. This includes Resident Evil 4, Dave the Diver, Baldur’s Gate 3, Hi-Fi Rush, Dredge, Cocoon and more. With many of these on track to becoming Game of the Year, it will be the perfect opportunity to join the hype.

This is the case for adventure video game Dave the Diver which we were lucky enough to review. Our very own Ewan Moore said it is “a definite must-play, which is really saying something given how many must-plays we’ve already had this year,” in his review.
