Steam $50 free store credit available for next 24 hours

The Steam Summer Sale may have just recently ended, but that doesn’t mean our backlogs aren’t completely filled.

After all, what’s another RPG to add to your library, or a few more visual novels. It might be a good time to start saving up.

However, if you want to fast track your way to grabbing these new games, an account on X (formerly Twitter) is hosting a giveaway for free $50 USD store credit on Steam.

The account Free Steam Games is currently hosting a giveaway to win $50 in free store credit, which is enough to go towards one of 2025’s all-time bangers like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, or Blue Prince.

To enter into the sweepstakes, simply follow the instructions listed in the post below.

You’ll need to follow a couple of X accounts, as well as repost and like the original post. You’ll also be required to join their Discord, and post proof of it in the replies.

It sounds like a bit of effort, but it’s not too bad when you consider $50 of store credit for Steam is up for grabs here. If you’re saving up for Silent Hill f or Borderlands 4, it might be worth the five minutes it takes.

For those of us who don’t buy games in US dollars, be sure to check how much this is in your currency.

For example, $50 USD translates to roughly £37.28 in GBP over here in the United Kingdom.

The giveaway ends on 21st July, but a specific time hasn’t been given. Since the post was posted at 12:12PM BST on 19th July, and had a time limit of 48 hours, we’re assuming it ends at midday.
