But in one quick sale through a third-party partner, PC gamers can get themselves one of the best narrative and morality-testing games of all time without spending a dime.

Slated as one of the most memorable games, with an ending that will play melodies on your heartstrings, Telltale's The Walking Dead (2012) is currently free on Steam - well, kind of. We'll walk you through it.

• Register or log in to an account on Legion Gaming Community
• Link your Steam account (Qualifying players must have spent at least $5 on games before).
• Select the Key Drops Page before 5pm BST (12 pm EST) on August 19 and join the queue
• You will have 10 minutes to claim the key.
• Sign in to Gamesplanet, Legion's partner, and claim the Key Voucher to redeem it.
• Users will receive a Steam Key for The Walking Dead

As soon as the doors close on August 19, the offer is as dead as the corpses that others are re-killing.
