Steam users have an opportunity to claim free store credit but you only have 24 hours to make it yours.
Life as a whole keeps getting more expensive nowadays, and maintaining our hobby of playing video games is no exception, whether it’s the prices of games or consoles. Recently, we’ve seen the likes of PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo all drastically increase prices.
This is why subscription services such as PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass can be great. Not only do they offer hundreds of video games to play in an instant, but a monthly subscription fee is far less than a newly released AAA game.

That being said, it’s also nice to receive free store credit from time to time, helping to reduce the price of a game or a piece of DLC that we’ve had our eye on.
Speaking of which, you can claim free Steam credit, thanks to a competition hosted by the Twitter account ‘Free Steam Games’, which is helping to promote the indie title Lost but Found, developed and published by Rogue Duck Interactive.
“Organise and give out lost items! Lost but Found is a job simulator game where you are an officer who oversees the lost items in an airport,” reads the description of the game on Steam. “Organise those items and distribute them to people who lost their belongings. Upgrade your office, manage requests, collect stickers, and more.”

At the time of writing, Lost but Found has a Steam user review rating of “Mostly Positive”, so for a game that is currently selling for £3.53, instead of its typical £5.89, it looks like good value regardless.
All you have to do to win the $5 Steam credit is follow the instructions in the tweet from Free Steam Games, with the winner being announced on Saturday 14 June 2025. Good luck!
