Developed by MadDogProduction, Diluted will see you take on the role of Archie, an orphan who finds himself bound to a living nightmare.

As a result, he will have to uncover the truth behind his matron’s orphanage as he explores a twisted forest littered with corrupted memories.
“Diluted is a narrative-driven 3D side-scrolling puzzle and adventure game where players explore dark environments, solve environmental challenges, and uncover a story centered around fear, control, and nightmares,” the official Steam synopsis reads.
Players must join Archie and his living nightmare entity named Azell as the pair travel across interconnected areas, all whilst avoiding environmental hazards.
As you confront hostile nightmare manifestations, you will also need to pay attention to the world around you in order to solve puzzles, find clues, and use Archie’s limited alchemy knowledge in order to survive your enemy encounters.
Along the way, you will stumble across environmental storytelling taken from notes and journals and as you progress, this is how you will uncover the truth about your matron’s orphanage.
With themes of psychological horror, stunning visuals, ambient sound design and narrative tension, Diluted may be a short game, but it is no less impactful.
