Steam users need to check out this awesome first-person shooter, it’s very Resident Evil-coded.
We must thank Resident Evil as a series for bringing us so many great horror titles over the years, but also inspiring just as many.
Sure zombies have been done in the media before but I think I speak for a lot of people when I say Resident Evil is one of the first things you tend to think of when undead hordes pop up in conversation…

While we wait for Resident Evil 9 though, which sounds awesome already by the way, why not try out this ace Steam that clearly takes a bit of inspiration from Capcom’s undead survival series.
It’s called Necro Siege, and as the name implies it’s all about surviving the night as you’re set upon by ravenous monsters.
The game’s description reads: “Battle the relentless horde of zombies, demons, and other horrors as you struggle to survive. Will you withstand the madness, or will it consume you?”
Aside from Resident Evil when I look at Necro Siege I also think about Valve’s co-op shooter series Left 4 Dead, and then I get sad because we still don’t have a Left 4 Dead 3 yet, seriously what are Valve playing at?

Anyway Necro Siege looks like a jolly good time if you like running for your life and mowing down infected with a variety of weapons.
If it sounds like your cup of tea you’ll be pleased to hear you can try it out for free, as while the game isn’t technically out yet it is in early-access, with a free demo you can play right now.
As for a full release date it’s said to be launching sometime in Q3 this year, a bit vague but I'm sure that demo will keep us occupied in the meantime.
