If you are on the lookout for a stunning new game but do not want to spend a single penny, then you are in luck as Steam has added another freebie to its store.
You may need to take out a second mortgage to be able to afford a top-of-the-range gaming PC but fear not as Steam regularly releases free games and demos to make sure you are not breaking the bank on all releases.
That is why its latest offering is not one to miss out on as this beautiful RPG is available to try out right now.
The Ballad of Bellum is an upcoming action-adventure RPG from developers BokehDev.

As you uncover a strange artefact deep within the forest, you soon discover that your friend had fallen gravely ill and it is up to you to leave your home town and venture further into the woods in order to search for that all-important cure.
“Explore a vibrant picturesque world as you search for a number of strange artifacts needed to save your friend, and perhaps the world? Delve into dungeons, overcome obstacles, solve puzzles, and fight foes,” the official Steam synopsis reads.
The Ballad of Bellum does not yet have a full release date but as mentioned, it is now free to try out courtesy of Steam with the demo giving you access to some of the game’s early areas including your home town, the lush forest, and even a mysterious dungeon.
You will be able to take on this first dungeon, known as The Ancient Tree, with each featuring their very own puzzles, obstacles and foes.

Along the way, you will meet characters who will play an important role in your story as well as uncover some of the game’s earliest mysteries and collect items that will aid you in your upcoming journey.
Not only that but with a variety of clothes options, you will be able to customise your character at will to make them ready for whatever lays on the path ahead.
The demo for The Ballad of Bellum has been out for just a few days and players are already loving what the upcoming RPG has to offer.
