How would you like to play a popular video game for free? Scratch that, how about two video games at no extra cost? If so, you better act fast because you don’t have long to claim them.
In this day and age during a cost of living crisis, especially as we edge closer to Christmas, it’s not only great to save a few quid with some freebies, but video games can also offer some of the best distractions from our worldly woes, and perhaps even more so when playing with family and friends. Thankfully, Steam has us covered with a couple of delightful multiplayer games on PC.

The two games in question are GTFO which carries the ominous slogan “work together or die together” and the second game is the brutal mediaeval title, Chivalry 2. However, if you want to play either or both of these games for free, the offer expires within just three days of writing this article.

Developed and published by 10 Chambers with “Very Positive” reviews on Steam, GTFO: “is a hardcore cooperative horror shooter that throws you from gripping suspense to explosive action in a heartbeat. Stealth, strategy, and teamwork are necessary to survive in your deadly, underground prison. Work together or die together.”
As for Chivalry 2, this multiplayer game is developed by Torn Banner Studios and published by Tripwire Presents, it also has “Very Positive” reviews on Steam. “Chivalry 2 is a multiplayer first-person slasher inspired by epic mediaeval movie battles,” reads the description of the game. “Players are thrust into the action of every iconic moment of the era - from clashing swords to storms of flaming arrows, to sprawling castle sieges and more.”
What’s more, should you decide to purchase either GTFO and/or Chivalry 2 right now, Steam is currently offering discounts on both games at 40% and 60% off, respectively. GTFO is available only on PC, while Chivalry 2 is available on PC, PlayStation and Xbox with cross-platform play.
