Resident Evil meets Battlefield in this stunning new FPS

Hunger game!

Resident Evil and Battlefield fans will want to check out this stunning new FPS coming soon.

It’s not every day that we hear of a game that can be comparable to the likes of Resident Evil and Battlefield, though no doubt, some exist, such as the game that is the topic of today’s discussion.

Traditionally, Capcom’s Resident Evil is known for its slow-paced, third-person horror, with a few exceptions, of course. Whereas EA’s Battlefield series is known for its high-octane, FPS action.

Check out the Hunger trailer below!

So what is the game that combines those two aspects, I hear you ask? As clearly shown in the trailer above, that game is called Hunger, developed and published by the indie team at Good Fun Corporation.

“War has ravaged Europe, but something far worse now grips the continent. A Bacterium of unknown origin has twisted the land, leaving behind only ruin, fear, and something far more sinister,” reads the synopsis of the game on Steam.

“In this PvPvE first-person extraction RPG, players will scavenge a decaying world, face unspeakable horrors, and outlast rival survivors in desperate, high-risk expeditions where every step could be your last…”

By completing quests, players will progress and level up alongside their teammates, as well as being able to customise their characters.

Working together and crafting the best items for the task at hand, from the resources gathered, is of the utmost importance if you and your team are to escape this hell alive.

Hunger is also playable on your lonesome and as a duo or as a trio team. Hopefully, squads will arrive at a later date when the full version of the game is released.

At the time of writing, Hunger does not have a release date, but it is expected to enter early access on Steam soon. In the meantime, be sure to wishlist it to keep updated on its progress.
