Red Dead Redemption and Bloodborne fans should give this Steam title a go, while they still can.
Admittedly it sounds like an odd combination, the Wild West aesthetic of Red Dead Redemption 2 but with the eldritch horror of Bloodborne thrown in to twist it into something horrific.
When you really think about it though, is that not what Red Dead Redemption’s Undead Nightmare DLC all about?..

Either way it works well in this game, Nightmare Frontier, which is coming to Steam this month.
The game’s description reads: “Behold the first-ever Tactical Extraction Looter where you pit your courage and leadership against fears made manifest: the Dreadweavers. Lead a band of scavenger roughnecks into a devastated boom town of the alternative 1900s. Get in, face the monsters, grab what you can carry and get out. Alive.”
It’s very western, and the gameplay is actually pretty reminiscent of Baldur’s Gate 3 with it being turn-based.
Aside from having a great appearance the game itself looks like it’ll keep you occupied for a while, not just because of all the levels it seemingly has but also the in-depth customisation when it comes to your character builds.

It looks like you could have good fun replaying it and going down a different path every time, but don’t take our word for it as you can try it for yourself right now.
There’s a free demo available on Steam that’ll give you a taste of what the full game is like, and if you like what you play it comes out this month so you won’t have long to wait before you can dive into the whole thing.
Unfortunately there’s not an exact date for the game’s launch, but in the meantime you could always stick it on your Steam wishlist while you’re keeping an eye on its drop date.
