Fallout meets Titanfall in upcoming survival-horror shooter

This horror sci-fi shooter looks fun

The concept of a video game that is perhaps inspired by the likes of Fallout and Titanfall with a bit of survival horror thrown in for good measure sounds like my kinda game.

Largely thanks to the popularity of the Fallout live-action series from Amazon, the likes of Fallout 4 and Fallout: New Vegas has never been hotter, heck, even the multiplayer game Fallout 76 has been getting a lot of love lately. As for the Titanfall series, there’s no telling if that franchise is ever coming back.

Check out The Forever Winter trailer below!

So while we wait for the Titanfall game that we’ll probably never get, the upcoming indie tactical title The Forever Winter may pique your interest. “The Forever Winter is a co-op tactical survival horror shooter where you and your squad must loot the dead to survive under the shadow of terrifying and gargantuan war machines locked in a never-ending conflict,” reads the description on the Steam store.

The Forever Winter is developed and published by Fun Dog Studios and with a content warning such as, “This Game may contain content not appropriate for all ages, or may not be appropriate for viewing at work: Frequent Violence or Gore, General Mature Content,” it’s sure to excite fans of the horror genre.

At the time of writing, The Forever Winter does not have a release date but it is expected to be released on PC at some point this year. Hopefully, a playable demo will be available on the Steam store in the coming months and if the game proves to be a success, we might just get a console release too.

We’ll keep you posted if we hear of any further details on The Forever Winter and be sure to wishlist it on Steam to be notified of its upcoming launch.
