If you ever wanted to play a game that blends the unexpected combination of Uncharted and Stardew Valley, then this charming game might be your cup of tea.
When Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune was released on the PlayStation 3 in 2007, it not only became a leading brand for The Last of Us developer Naughty Dog but also a leading IP for Sony PlayStation.
Uncharted has since spawned critically acclaimed sequels but it’s looking increasingly likely that the PlayStation 5 might be the first console generation not to get a new Uncharted entry, which would be a shame.

One game that we know for sure is getting a sequel, or better yet, a spiritual successor is the Haunted Chocolatier, the next game from Stardew Valley developer, ConcernedApe. However, despite being announced in October 2021, Haunted Chocolatier still does not have a release date.
The game in question, which blends Uncharted and Stardew Valley, is the upcoming indie game developed and published by HistoryXPlorer called Retro Relics.

“In Retro Relics, you follow in the footsteps of your late Grandpa, a passionate metal detectorist. Explore nature and search for various relics with your metal detector,” reads the description of the game on Steam.
“Roam freely with no time limits—detect, dig, help others find their lost belongings, and complete your coin and relics collection!”
Judging by the gameplay trailer, Retro Relics looks like it could be a lot of fun and it also seems to have something for fans of Animal Crossing with its tropical island goodness.
At the time of writing, Retro Relics does not have a release date but it is planned to launch at some point this year.
