Making it into the most-played charts on Steam is no small feat. Taking a place as one of the most played games should be worn as a badge of honour.

Whenever a new game creeps in, it should be tried, especially if it’s completely free to play.

Another game that often rides high in the Steam charts is Naraka: Bladepoint.

Once Human is the latest game to see a fast rise into the charts, and it continues to climb. Why? Well, it’s a multiplayer, open-world survival game set in a post-apocalyptic future.

It kind of ticks many boxes at once. It’s a little bit Fallout, and a little of The Last of Us, all while playing with your mates.

Considering Once Human only came out yesterday, it gaining over 65K players in less than 24 hours is a heck of an achievement.

Of course, it helps that it doesn’t cost a penny to play it, so many can download the game and give it a try, even if it might not be for them on paper. There’s no harm in trying.

However, from taking a look over the Steam page, it’s clear to see that it’s a gorgeous game with plenty of opportunity for great, action-packed moments.

But it’s not all shooting aliens, you can build your own territories and battle it out with other players for control over resources, too. There are aliens in it, though. They’re called ‘Stardust’ and their presence has contaminated the planet.

With over 100 guns to build and use, plus different ways to support your in-game life, Once Human is definitely giving players the chance to make their adventure unique.

It won’t be long before this game starts breaking some records if its rise continues the way it has in the past 24 hours.

I know I’ll be downloading this today and giving it a shot. Survival games are big money at the moment and this seems to be another gem in the crown.
