Fans of Resident Evil and P.T. or just horror games in general are in luck as a brand-new terrifying title has been announced.

Combining the horrific exploration of Resident Evil with the psychological horror of the forever-missed P.T., BrokenLore: UNFOLLOW was announced earlier this week and is on track for a Q3 2025 release.

BrokenLore: UNFOLLOW is a first-person psychological horror game that explores the impact that social media has on mental health.

Players will take on the role of Anne, a victim of bullying who finds herself trapped in a surreal nightmare where she must solve a dark mystery and confront sinister creatures in order to escape.

Developed by Serafini Productions, this story is painfully relevant in today’s society as players help Anne come to terms with her past’s most painful choices.

However, with terrifying creatures following her every step, Anne will have to use all of her mental strength in order to escape the living nightmare.

“BrokenLore: UNFOLLOW delves deep into pressing social issues, shining a spotlight on the insidious influence of social media,” the synopsis reveals.

“Its themes are profound, exploring the intricacies of mental health, body dysmorphia, and the horrors of bullying.”

Not only that but UNFOLLOW will feature multiple endings influenced by choices you make throughout the game and so how you choose to confront Anne’s trauma will play a big part on your experience.

With eerie creatures representing Anne’s trauma and her smartphone playing a crucial role in gameplay, this game is not for the faint-hearted and as you can imagine, viewer discretion is advised.

As mentioned, BrokenLore: UNFOLLOW releases later this year on PlayStation 5 and PC so if you want to dive into a psychological horror with inspiration taken from the greats such as Resident Evil, Silent Hill and P.T., this is definitely worth adding to your wishlist.
