PlayStation 5 users have been issued a warning as six games are set to be delisted over the next couple of months.
As is often the case with the growing popularity of digital game libraries, many titles that have been released exclusively as digital-only titles run the risk of being lost forever if they’re delisted.
Due to expiring game licences, publisher issues, or rising server costs, these games can often find themselves on the chopping block after a certain amount of time, rendering them lost forever if it happens.
In May and June, six games will be delisted from the PlayStation store across PS4 and PS5, including a popular Battlefield game and a big VR title (via Push Square).

Here are the games that are leaving the PlayStation Store in May and June:
“Pinball FX3 is the BIGGEST, most COMMUNITY focused pinball game ever created. Multiplayer matchups, user generated tournaments and league play create endless opportunity for pinball competition.”

“Rec Room is the best place to build and play games together. Party up with friends from all around the world to chat, hang out, explore MILLIONS of player-created rooms, or build something new and amazing to share with us all.”

“Be the law or Break the law in Battlefield™ Hardline. This action-packed blockbuster combines intense signature multiplayer moments of Battlefield with an emotionally charged story and setting reminiscent of a modern television crime drama.”

“Pinball FX is digital pinball evolved. Get the highest score on tables inspired by the biggest brands in entertainment. New tables arrive frequently!”

“Get ready to tilt into terror. The new horror-inspired pinball platform for fearless players. Prove your skills on the most sinister, gory, and badass tables ever brought to life.”

“Horizon Chase Turbo is a racing game inspired by the great hits of the 80's and 90's: Out Run, Top Gear, Rush, among others. It recreates classic arcade gameplay with unbound speed limits of fun.”

In any case, if you fancied checking any of these games out before they’re taken down, now is the time.
However, with most of them also ending online services, purchasing them now would only give you a few weeks of gameplay before it basically becomes a digital paperweight.
On the other hand, games like Horizon Chase Turbo and Battlefield Hardline will still have their singleplayer components accessible for players, making them still worth picking up if you fancy.
Horizon Chase Turbo is an excellent throwback to the old Out Run arcade racers of the 1980s, while Battlefield Hardline’s ol’ switcheroo putting the emphasis on inner city crime and procedural policework makes it a rather interesting entry in the Battlefield franchise.
