The dreaded PlayStation 5 DualSense controller stick drift has an apparent fix; something we at GAMINGbible have tried and tested before you take the plunge.

Yesterday, we reported on an apparent stick drift fix for the DualSense controller. As gamers, we all know what the dreaded stick drift is.
Basically, either of the two controller analogue sticks wanders slightly without you touching them. Infuriating and far too common.
Stick Drift is a Pain in the…
I recently encountered stick drift recently when playing Ghost of Yotei. At first, everything was ok. That was until I saw Atsu on horseback casually stroll over to the left-hand side of the screen without me even holding my DualSense controller.

To make sure that this wasn't an issue with the game, after restarting my console, when I went to the PlayStation 5 dashboard, the left controller analogue stick scrolled to the far left tile. Again, without me touching it. At this point, stick drift wasn't 100% confirmed.
I retired my well-served controller, never to be used again. That was until this week. The story that I covered was in relation to X user Modyfikator89 advertising software on his website that can apparently fix stick drift. I was keen to try this for myself using my faulty controller.
Using the technician's 'Driftguard’ website app on PC, you fire up the website app with your DualSense controller connected to your PC or laptop. Calibration then follows.
Upon visiting the website, which also has sections for the Xbox controller and Nintendo’s Joy-Cons (not just the DualSense), I followed the step-by-step instructions in an attempt to fix the stick drift.

But unfortunately for me, my controller is about as useful as a soggy toilet roll.
That’s not to say that this website won't work for you, because it might.

I would assume that the issue with my controller is related to the hardware, and the analogue modules need replacing.
Results may have been different if it were purely related to the controller's software.
So by no means let this article put you off if you have controller stick drift, because this website might work for you. Just don't expect any miracles.
