PlayStation just slashed prices on thousands of games, RIP my wallet

Our poor bank accounts, they can only take so much

Not to sound dramatic, but my bank is about to suffer more than usual – PlayStation has just slashed thousands of games prices, and who are we to deny their call to adventure?

You can be as disgruntled as you like about the current state of PlayStation Plus, and you can also not be sold on the great features being added to the system in the latest update. But you’d be a fool to claim that this isn’t a fantastic deal.

If you prefer to be scared by something other than your bank account, might we suggest Outlast Trials

This sale has cut the prices of over 1,000 PS4 and PS5 titles, with those discounts set to stick around until 27 March. Some prices have been slashed by up to 75 percent, which we can all agree is a huge discount. And while not every game in the sale may be to your tastes, considering there are huge games like Final Fantasy 16 included, we’re certain you’ll find something.

Other titles worthy of note up for grabs are Days gone, and Hades. You don't have to be a fan of Sony’s zombie game to know it’s “one of the best zombie games of all time”. As for Hades, this is another belter of a game, that arguably only truly starts when it ends (if you know, you know). With a sequel on the way, now is the time to play it if you haven’t already.

There’s also Stray, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, and Marvel’s Spider-Man up for grabs in the ‘Essential Picks’. Although this sale should run its course, Sony could change its mind at any time, so I’d move quickly if I were you. Plus, who wants to hang around when there’s so many stellar games to be purchased?!

Remember, you only have until 27 March to grab some bargains; don't go blaming us if you miss out.
