PlayStation Plus users have been treated to a surprise new bonus, and it’s a great offer for fans.
If you think about the reason you’re subscribed to PlayStation Plus, it might be that you’re in it for the monthly freebies on Essential, or the much larger game catalog that’s available with Extra and Premium.
However, there are also plenty of other bonuses that you can get with your subscription, too. Including additional discounts and freebies from the PlayStation Store.
PowerWash Simulator players can pick up a 15% discount on its sequel, PowerWash Simulator 2 in time for release, and that includes those who claimed it as one of the PlayStation Plus Essential monthly offerings in December 2023.

This was revealed in the PowerWash Simulator Discord server and spotted by Reddit user Brilliant-Ranger-356.
While it’s a small savings, it’s a business move that has been received positively by the community, especially with the price already being so low in the first place.

“This is great! I love PWS and I did claim it back in December 2023 from PS plus,” writes one fan on the PlayStation Plus Reddit page. “I have over 100hrs in PWS including all free and paid DLC, I absolutely adore PWS. PWS2 is only $25 so I’ll probably pay full price because I want to reward the hard work of the Devs.”
“Honestly, my biggest hype this year isn't about Silent Hill or anything, no...I've been awaiting the second Part of Power Wash Simulator for months,” writes another fan eagerly awaiting the release date.
“Forget Clair Obscure, PowerWash Simulator 2 is the REAL GOTY,” writes a third fan. “I'm so happy that I'm gonna get it for even cheaper now too!”
PowerWash Simulator 2 launches on 23rd October, 2025. It’s the sequel to the ever-popular PowerWash Simulator, which was released back in 2022 for consoles and PC.

In addition to PlayStation 5, it’s also coming to PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2. For Xbox users specifically, it’ll also be available as a Day 1 release on Xbox Game Pass.
Expect its gameplay to be largely the same as in the first, but with new tools and quality-of-life features to improve the overall experience.
The levels are also expected to be larger than in the first, and developer FuturLab has also added a home base which acts as a hub for you to return to between jobs.
