PlayStation Plus drops 4 bonus freebies following August free game line-up reveal

As PlayStation Plus players let hell loose on countless hordes of alien inhabitants, thanks to a new bumper drop of August freebies, the platform has celebrated a renewed interest in its exclusive games by dishing out free avatars to its users.

The PlayStation Plus service was bolstered by some quality games in a new wave of additions that arrived this week.

Building on the indie hit sensation Big Walk, the Extra and Premium PS Plus passes have been complemented with ten fresh titles, most of which are coming next week.

But the earliest of these releases came in the form of Helldivers 2, which launched on August 19 and has enjoyed a second wind of life through the free giveaway.

After the opening six days of being on PlayStation Plus, Arrowhead Game Studios revealed that there have been 500 million eliminations of enemies, and every soldier who has contributed can now sport the game as their PlayStation Avatar.

The four new 'Patriotic Portraits' feature the protagonist pulling a string of emotes, popularised in-game.

Using the promo code 'N7TM-CPAQ-E89P', players need to head to the official PS Plus webpage, log in, select 'Redeem Code' and paste the 12-digit sequence into the text bar/

The four free Avatars should then appear in your library and will appear on your PlayStation next time you log in.

Moving forward, the PS Plus action only gets better, with massive releases like Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Vampire Survivors, and Hell is Us.
