PlayStation Plus' July lineup hasn't been announced yet, but we've already had two games confirmed for August 2026.
While we wait for confirmation on the new titles coming to Sony's all-you-can-play service over the next month or two, we now have some insight into what's coming up.
The new free games coming to PlayStation Plus in August include a Day 1 title, as well as a re-release of a classic PS2 title.
As revealed in a Sony State of Play from earlier this year, Big Walk from House House was confirmed to be a Day 1 title. However, it did not have a release date attached to it.

Panic has now announced that Big Walk will release on 4 August on PC, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2.
As such, the game will also be coming as a Day 1 title to PlayStation Plus Extra at the same time.

"Big Walk is a cooperative multiplayer adventure about teamwork and talking," reads the press release for Big Walk.
"Set out with your friends through a wide-open world full of challenges, puzzles, and discoveries. You’ll need to work together to find your way around, stay in contact using an assortment of tools and toys, and figure out new ways to communicate when you suddenly find yourself speechless.
"Adventuring aside, there’s plenty of time to just hang out. Sit and watch the sunset, or steal your friend’s binoculars and kick them into the ocean. Spending time with friends is the best part of a big walk."
House House is the developer of Untitled Goose Game, and Big Walk marks the studio's first release in seven years.
Meanwhile, PlayStation Plus has also confirmed that Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams will also drop on the service in August.
Originally released on the PS2 in 2006, Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams is the sixth entry to the Onimusha series, which is seeing a new reboot later this year with Onimusha: Way of the Sword.
It followed the events of Onimusha 3: Demon Siege, following a warrior called Soki on a quest to stop Hideyoshi Toyotomi, who rules Japan with a demonic army. Soki, who possesses Oni powers, unites with several allies who work together to stop the demons.
It'll be coming to PlayStation Plus Premium in August. If you're an Onimusha fan, you'll definitely have a lot to look forward to over the next few months.
