Over the years, we’ve been blessed with thousands of amazing video games across multiple generations. In fact, there’s simply too much to choose from. However, if you subscribe to Sony’s PlayStation Plus service, you might find some absolute gems.

Some of those gems currently included in PS Plus are the likes of Bloodborne, God of War (2018), the Shadow of the Colossus remake, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and so much more.

Check out the Ghost of Tsushima trailer below!

Another game currently available is Ghost of Tsushima from Sucker Punch Productions. Ghost of Tsushima was initially released for the PS4 in 2020, before arriving on PS5 the following year. Simply put, Ghost of Tsushima tells a wonderful story of honour, betrayal and love. It also looks stunning with a massive open world and a mesmerising soundtrack.

In our review of Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut, we said: “PlayStation 5 is undoubtedly the definitive way to experience Sucker Punch's open-world samurai adventure. Improved loading times, enhanced resolutions, smoother frame rates, and a slew of brand-new content make the 2020 game shine in new ways. More than that though, it's given me the chance to reassess a video game that I just previously couldn't see the adoration for.”

PlayStation fans on Reddit have been discussing Ghost of Tsushima, which isn't the first and most certainly won't be the last discussion of this cracking game. “Highly recommend Ghost of Tsushima,” announced Redditor Sm211.

“I have had so much enjoyment with it, the story is an engaging one leaving me wondering how things are going to end as I'm in Act 3 just now,” they continued. “Experience-wise it has been fantastic, I can spend hours just wandering around the massive map and always finding a random quest or stranger to help, or often save from the bad guy.

“The combat also feels really rewarding as you play a Samurai and get to change between stances giving you lots of different styles of attack. It also has such a good and interesting protagonist in Jin Sakai, I love his story and the tale of the Ghost.”

Fellow Redditors were keen to discuss their enjoyment of Ghost of Tsushima but be warned, there are spoilers in the thread. “Probably the best game I've ever played,” said SoggyButterscotch27. “I loved the game. Also highly recommend playing lethal mode (which was strangely easier than hard mode to me),” replied hopskipjumprun.

“I’ve been playing it too. I reckon I'm nearly at the end of Act 3, and it's been a blast. Most games I pick and play for a few hours, but this one I really dug,” explained LiamJonsano. “It helps that I'm into old Assassin’s Creed games, and they are quite similar in many respects. Superb game, can't believe it took me this long to play it.”

Ghost of Tsushima is out now on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. If you haven't checked it out for yourself yet, what are you waiting for?
