PlayStation Plus subscribers will have to prepare not to touch grass for a while, as soon as this 90-hour RPG comes to the subscription-based library of goodness.
At least right now, all three tiers of PlayStation Plus offer good value. However, judging by the latest price increase, that value is becoming more difficult to justify. Saying that, it’s still ok, for now.
Depending on the tier that you subscribe to, you can get access to hundreds of games, curated movies, trials, cloud streaming, free DLC, discounts and more. Of course, the higher the tier, the more bonuses you have coming your way.
Earlier this week, Sony announced the three new games coming to PlayStation Plus Essential in June 2026, and it includes decent games. One game in particular is described as being “awesome” by the gaming community.
That game is the co-op RPG, developed and published by the indie folks at Fatshark, none other than Warhammer 40,000: Darktide.

“Take back the city of Tertium from hordes of bloodthirsty foes in this intense and brutal action shooter. Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is the new co-op-focused experience from the award-winning team behind the Vermintide series,” reads the synopsis of the game.
“In the depths of the hive, the seeds of corruption threaten to turn into an overwhelming tide of darkness. A mysterious and sinister new force is seeking to take control of the entire city. It is up to you and your allies in the Inquisition to root out the enemy before the city succumbs to Chaos. As Tertium falls, Rejects Will Rise.”
“What do we have planned for 2 June?” asked Redditor RequirementFew630, sharing an image of the three new games coming to PlayStation Plus.

“I'm going to dump an irresponsible number of hours into Darktide,” declared Yarzeda2024.
“Darktide is awesome,” replied Cautious_Catch4021.
“Darktide is cool. I enjoyed Vermintide. Grounded is good, but I had serious lag issues with multiplayer (if the host opened their menu, my game would freeze), so I gave up on it,” said HidingUnderCardboard.
“Darktide is what I am excited for,” added JamesKilbride.
As the headline of this article states, according to the aggregate website, HowLongToBeat, it takes an estimated 90 hours to finish Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. That being said, if you’re the type of gamer who likes to explore every nook and cranny, it will probably last even longer.
Grounded Fully Yoked Edition, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide will all be available on PlayStation Plus (for all three tiers) on Tuesday, 2 June 2026.
