PlayStation’s Days of Play event returns in June 2026 and with it comes your next batch of PlayStation Plus games.
Kicking off on 2 June PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers or higher will be able to claim the following games at no additional cost.
Xbox Game Studio’s open-world survival game Grounded is your first title. It’s quite poor timing really considering the sequel Grounded 2 is already out in early-access on Xbox and PC.
It’s not available for PlayStation users though so for the time being they’re stuck with the first game. Not the worst fate considering you won’t have to buy it yourself.
Definitely the weakest title out of the three but not bad for the Super Smash Bros fans out there.

It’s basically that but with Nickelodeon characters like Spongebob Squarepants, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Danny Phantom.
There’s no better time to get into Warhammer 40,000 than right now. The tabletop game is about to kick off its 11th edition with new rules, new models and more, but there’s plenty of fun to be had with the video games too.
Warhammer 40,000 Darktide is a co-operative first-person shooter where players become a rag-tag group of misfits who are basically sent on suicide missions in service of the beloved Imperium.
With several classes to choose from a wide-variety of unlockable weapons it’s a good time, especially with friends. It’s easier than ever to assemble a firetime now too considering you’ll all be able to claim it via PlayStation Plus.

In addition to the above PlayStation Plus Essential titles, PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers will also get to play Destiny 2: Legacy Collection at no additional cost.
This version of Destiny 2 includes all of the DLC expansions including The Final Shape, and comes not long after support for the game officially came to an end.
June's PlayStation Plus offering is looking...weak, to say the least. The game's on offer aren't bad but they're not the heavy-hitters you'd expect from an event like Days of Play, and they feel almost insulting considering the recent PlayStation Plus price-hike. Originally it was believed the price was only increasing for PlayStation Plus Essential but it turns out all tiers are affected.
With that in mind Grounded Fully Yoked Edition, Nickelodeon All Star Brawl 2 and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide don't do the service any favours, though the complete version of Destiny 2 on PlayStation Plus Extra is decent.
Luckily the monthly line-up isn't the only thing Days of Play is known for as there are some other freebies to take advantage of, and of course the sales.
