PlayStation Plus users are overlooking a great bonus freebie

There's more than just free games on offer

Subscription services are never cheap, so you should be ensuring that you get the most out of what you’re paying for.

That applies to PlayStation Plus.

If you subscribe to the service’s most expensive Premium tier, you’ll be gaining access to several features beyond the library of free games we all know about.

From game trials to cloud gaming, there are certainly perks to splashing out the extra cash on PlayStation Plus Premium.

You may also be aware that this tier grants you access to a curated library of film and TV titles to watch on Sony Pictures Core.

What is seemingly going unnoticed though by many subscribers is that this also includes access to a limited selection of Crunchyroll content.

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions launches as a day one title on PlayStation Plus next month. Take a look at the game in action below.

If you’re into anime, then you’ll be very familiar with Crunchyroll.

It’s the go-to place to watch anime, and you can partially access some of the service’s best offerings for free via your PlayStation Plus Premium subscription.

I can’t list exactly what titles are included as this varies from region to region, but Eighty Six, Iruma-kun, To Your Eternity, and My Hero Academia are just a few of the titles that have thus far made an appearance.

To gain access to this library, download the Sony Pictures Core app from the media menu on your PlayStation 5 console.

On the PlayStation 4, you can find this in the PlayStation Store.

From there, create an account. It should track that you have an active PlayStation Plus Premium subscription on your console.

Sony hasn’t digressed exactly how often it updates, or plans to, the titles available via this library.

Still, it’s well worth having a browse of the anime content in addition to the wider Sony Pictures Core catalogue to see if anything tickles your fancy.
