One PlayStation Plus user has shared an important tip that I think is well worth listening to, regardless of what tier you subscribe to.
That’s because all PlayStation Plus users can enjoy the essential tier’s rotating monthly free game line-up (that’s not the tip).
You likely know the drill by now.
Three to four games are included every month and unlike with the extra and premium tiers, you can add these to your library, making them yours forever.

The only caveat is that you have to remain a PlayStation Plus subscriber but otherwise, games don’t ‘leave’ like they do on the extra and premium tiers.
You’d be surprised though how many people don’t make the most out of this system.
Reddit user _BudgieBee has made an excellent point.
“Adding all those random Plus games finally pays off,” they began.

“Every month I go and add all the new PS Plus games to my library, even the ones I have no interest in, and normally I get a little grumpy about all this trash in my library, but today I was out sick and needed something that looked like dumb fun and found Descenders in there and holy s**t this game is great! How did I miss this when it was added?”
I do the very same thing.
It’s so easy to fall into the habit of just claiming the games you’ve heard of or like the look of, but there’s zero reason why you shouldn’t claim everything.
You don’t have to download them, after all; they just get added to your library.

They remain there to download if you want, or you can ignore them forever, but at least you have a choice.
On multiple instances, I’ve downloaded games, like the OP, that I didn’t care about thinking I’d never play them, only to find a yearning to do just that months or even years later.
Earlier this year, my friend expressed interest in playing Team Sonic Racing; I went to see how much it cost on the PlayStation Store only to discover it was already in my library courtesy of a PlayStation Plus drop in March of 2022.
“Best reason to add games to the library... Never know when you may want to play them,” Death_Begon replied to the OP.

“I learned this lesson the hard way when I skipped Slay The Spire. Pshh card math game? I'm never gonna play that. Boy was I an idiot,” added OliveOcelot.
“I wish I did this because there’s some from 2022/23 that I skipped over because I either forgot them or thought I wouldn’t want to play them,” echoed syndicatevision.
“Exactly my experience when I only had a PS4 and kept getting PS5 titles I couldn't play, and now I've spent the last six months catching up on everything I've saved so far,” read a comment from VeryPickledSphincter.
If that doesn’t convince you to start saving those games, I don’t know what will.
