PlayStation Plus has confirmed which titles will soon be joining the extra and premium tiers for May, and it’s a very strong line-up.
Star Wars Outlaws and Red Dead Redemption 2 are the month’s headliners and they’ll be joined by Bramble: The Mountain King, The Thaumaturge, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, Broken Sword - Shadows of the Templar: Reforged, and Enotria: The Last Song Standard Edition on the extra tier.
Time Crisis is this month’s only premium tier addition - and that was previously confirmed in February’s State of Play.
As I said, it’s a strong line-up even if Red Dead Redemption 2 is a re-addition having landed on PlayStation Plus (and been removed again) before.

Still, it’s one of the greatest games of all-time so there are likely still going to be plenty of subscribers thrilled to see it come back.
The new May additions are officially set to become playable from Tuesday, 19 May.
However, you can actually net yourself early access to three of this month’s extra tier additions via the PlayStation Store.
As highlighted by Reddit user kabirsingh84, Star Wars Outlaws, Bramble: The Mountain King, and The Thaumaturge all have free demos available to enjoy now.
All you need to do to access those demos is search the relevant game on the PlayStation Store and hit download.
That should allow you to try out a slice of these games before they officially become available.
Unfortunately, none of these demos has save content that carries over into the full release, but they should help you decide which games you’re actually interested in.
After all, demos are designed to give you an enticing slice of the action. It’s perhaps better to start these demos than embark on full playthroughs.
The Star Wars Outlaws demo is the most generous, offering up to three hours of gameplay. It’s a brilliant game that deserved way more hype in the months following its release.
In fact, it’s even better than it was at launch now with devs really improving the game’s stealth sections having made some great adjustments.
The Bramble: The Mountain King demo is set in the middle of the game so you’ll get a decent feel of what the formula has to offer with this one lasting 20 to 25 minutes long.

Finally, there’s the demo for The Thaumaturge which allows you to sample the game’s prologue and core mechanics and, admittedly, I’m surprised there’s no carryover for this one.
I shouldn’t think I need to explain Star Wars Outlaws but as for those other two titles, you’re looking at a dark fantasy adventure and an RPG.
Bramble: The Mountain King is a dark fantasy adventure, inspired by Nordic fairytales. Players must delve into a twisted forest in search of their sister, fending off nightmarish creatures.
The Thaumaturge is the RPG option with players taking on the role of Wiktor Szulski, a thaumaturge who can peer into the hearts and minds of his customers and is deeply in touch with the realm of ghosts.
You’ll have to solve investigations while summoning and encountering demons, manipulating them or, occasionally, engaging in turn-based battles.
