PlayStation Plus’ October extra and premium tier additions have finally landed and this month, subscribers are gaining access to a whopping 15 new games.

It’s been a rocky few months for PlayStation Plus. A recent price rise was followed by a number of lacklustre game line-ups, leaving some fans threatening to cancel their subscriptions. We’re starting to see the tide turn though. This month’s essential tier drop consisted of The Callisto Protocol, Farming Simulator 22, and Weird West, with The Callisto Protocol in particular garnering a lot of praise from subscribers. It was also announced that premium tier users would be gaining access to a new catalogue of films via Sony Pictures Core. Well, the latest extra and premium tier drop has arrived and it’s another step in the right direction.

Gotham Knights is one of this month’s extra tier freebies. Take a look at the game in action below.

Half of the line-up was actually leaked a couple of days ago, but we now know the full extent of this month’s offerings. Extra tier subscribers will soon be able to download: Gotham Knights (PS5), Disco Elysium: The Final Cut (PS4/5), The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes (PS4/5), Alien Isolation (PS4), Dead Island Definitive Edition (PS4), Outlast 2 (PS4), Elite Dangerous (PS4), FAR: Changing Tides (PS4/5), Gungrave G.O.R.E (PS4), Eldest Souls (PS4/5), and Röki (PS4/5).

Premium tier subscribers will then also gain access to: Tekken 6 (PS4/5), Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny (PS4/5), Ape Escape Academy (PS4/5), and IQ Final (PS4/5).

It's a definite improvement. Personally, I highly recommend Disco Elysium: The Final Cut and the terrifying Alien Isolation. You may also want to check out Gotham Knights. It was a flop of a game, but one that many of us have a morbid curiosuity to check out and play. These games are due to land on the platform on Tuesday 17 October.
