PlayStation Plus users have been asking the community if there are any “hidden gems” they can recommend that subscribers try out, and I think they may have actually discovered a game on the service that fits the description (for once).
Now, if you ask me, a PlayStation Plus Extra subscription is only truly worth it if there’s enough there to keep you entertained for a decent length of time, which is why I’ve been sticking with the basic subscription for some time now.
That’s not a diss regarding the quality of the games on the service. There’s a lot of bangers on there, including a bunch of games that I would personally say are some of the best ever made.
This issue is… I’ve played most of them. Or, alternatively, I just already own them, either on PlayStation 5 or elsewhere.

However, commenters in one thread over on the r/PlayStationPlus subreddit might have discovered one of the only games on PlayStation Plus Extra I haven’t tried yet, and they’re doing a good job of convincing me to give it a go.
“Deliver us the Moon is more of a narrative with puzzles that aren’t too difficult, but it’s such a good narrative that I will always recommend it”, commented user medicated_in_PHL.
“The sequel, Deliver Us Mars is solid as well. I liked the story in both”, replied user manewitz.
“Deliver us the Moon is one of my favourite games. I was kinda sad at the ending, such an awesome narrative and driving that vehicle on the moon was actually so exciting”, commented user unfortunatelyypurdog.

Deliver Us The Moon is a 2019 sci-fi adventure game from developer KeokeN Interactive and publisher Wired Productions.
Admittedly, I have heard of the game, but the critics’ reviews kind of put me off of trying this one when it first dropped.
Seems that the user reception for Deliver Us The Moon is a lot more impressive than what the critics thought however, as it currently has a 4.26/5 on the PlayStation Store and an 88% “Very Positive” score on Steam.
Not sure if it’s entirely worth renewing my PS Plus Extra subscription just for this one game, but the story sounds cool enough that I’ve been convinced to stick it on my wishlist.

Besides, if I do end up loving it, it’s nice to know that there’s a sequel (titled Deliver Us Mars) that I can sink my teeth into as soon as I’m finished.
