If you subscribe to any of the three PlayStation Plus tiers then you will have tons of fantastic games to play in an instant but some may not be available forever.

Despite offering a much smaller selection of games to play, one of the best benefits of Sony’s basic PlayStation Plus Essential tier is that all games in its library will remain accessible to you, as long as you have an active subscription. That being said, some games may be removed in rare instances if a licence was to expire, for example.

As for the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers, even though they offer a much greater quantity of games, most will come and go, such as the topic of today’s discussion. As revealed in the ‘Last Chance to Play’ section on PS Plus via the PlayStation console dashboard, it lets us know which games will be leaving the service soon.

With that in mind, it’s been revealed that one of the best action-adventure games of all-time is leaving soon and it's none other than DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace. Obviously, I’m joking because the game in question is Grand Theft Auto V, brought to our attention by Reddit user KilgoreTrout-11.

In truth, if you’ve not started playing GTA V yet, it’s unlikely that you’ll finish its campaign before it leaves PlayStation Plus but if you have, there’s always that chance you can get it done. However, GTA V tends to have a habit of arriving and leaving PS Plus more than most games, so if you’ve missed it now, there’s always a chance next time if it arrives once more.

GTA V is out now on PC, PlayStation and Xbox. Its highly anticipated sequel, GTA VI will be released in late 2025 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
