PlayStation Plus is hardly short of options.
In fact, we’re tracking every new free game dropped on the service in 2026, and there are plenty to choose from.
Typically, however, we’re used to seeing full-length releases, so it’s nice to see a surprise DLC become available even if only for a limited time.
PlayStation Plus’ extra tier catalogue is home to popular RPG Granblue Fantasy: Relink.

Well, it’s preparing to launch a huge DLC in the form of Endless Ragnarok.
Endless Ragnarok will launch in full on 9 July but ahead of then, it’s holding a free beta test which is available via the PlayStation Store.
The only catch is that you need a copy of the base game which you can nab from PlayStation Plus’ extra tier.
The beta test runs from now until Tuesday 27 April so you don’t have a ton of time to get involved, but you can certainly fit a dozen or so hours in before then.
The DLC is set to introduce new playable characters, new stories, and new game modes in what it describes as “the ultimate action RPG experience”.
“Although the Astral Lilith's machinations lay thwarted, winds of change begin to stir within the Zegagrande Skydom,” the synopsis teases.
“Strange beings called the ‘ragnalia’ herald the end times. Mysterious gateways beckon would-be challengers into a realm of chaos. And even the mighty Beelzebub, with his wings of steel, descends upon Zegagrande.”
Endless Ragnarok is set to introduce the ability to call summons, adding a new element to battling. Some even come accompanied by a “primal burst”, whatever that entails.

There are new co-op quest tiers, new bosses, and new mode Conflux. It’s a solo mode where players will face off against “unpredictable challenges”.
The DLC supports four-player online co-op or you can, of course, venture out on your own.
The beta ends at 6.50pm UTC on 27 April.
“The Granblue Fantasy: Relink - Endless Ragnarok open beta is open to all players,” devs stated.
“This beta test is intended to verify network load and game performance while helping us identify and resolve in-game issues prior to launch.
“As development is still in progress, we cannot guarantee a seamless gameplay experience—unexpected bugs, connectivity problems, and game freezes may occur. Thank you for bearing with us!”
PlayStation Plus users appear pleased with the free access they’ve been able to net, with many recommending Granblue Fantasy: Relink.
“I've put in almost 400 hrs into this game and it's one of my favourites that's ever been on this service so far. Beware though the end game grind is real but it has a lot of fun playable characters,” said one Reddit user.
“The base game is pretty fun if you like games like Monster Hunter. Just don't go in expecting an amazing story,” added another.
If you’re waiting on the next batch of PlayStation Plus freebies, May’s essential tier games will be unveiled on Wednesday 29 April.
