Every month, PlayStation Plus’ various tiers are updated with new games that subscribers can enjoy at no additional cost.
The cheapest essential tier offers three to four games a month which, once downloaded, are yours to enjoy anytime as long as you retain a PlayStation Plus subscription.
The pricier extra and premium tier catalogues are also refreshed with new titles monthly, but these don’t hang around forever with games also departing on a monthly basis.
Extra and premium tier games typically stick around for six, 12, or 18 months - and when they’re gone, they’re gone.
