PlayStation Plus gamers urged to grab acclaimed free game before it's gone

PlayStation Plus gamers urged to grab acclaimed free game before it's gone

Don't hesitate on these games

There are two games soon leaving PlayStation Plus and, honestly, both of them are worth your time. One is a quiet meditation on life, while the other is a bonkers sci-fi drama.

With 13 Sentinels, you’re getting a larger-than-life anime sci-fi that holds nothing back and throws out every brilliant trope you would expect.

Speaking of lush, light puzzlers, Woodo is looking like it will win some hearts upon its release

Think visual novel with some light combat, filled with over-the-top anime action, and you’re on the right track.

In fact, this user from Reddit, metroid23, sums it up nicely, “I'm pretty sure there was no sci-fi trope left unturned by the end of that one. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it but my oh my do they go off the rails haha.”

It’s always sad to see games leave the PlayStation Plus service, so if you’ve been putting off playing them, now is a great chance to get started.

Carrying on the ‘love’ for 13 Sentinels is beerninja88 who said, “13 Sentinels is quality Mind F**k. If you like your mind f**ked very rough and consistently all the way until the end of the game then be sure to check it out.”

The other game sailing off in Unpacking, a game I was coincidentally talking about just last night.

It’s a puzzle game of sorts, though the puzzles a very light. What carries this game is the surprisingly touching story and the genuinely lush pixel graphics.

The game follows an unnamed character as they move through life, with each chapter being told through the things they unpack into new homes.

One Redditor describes it as “Very relaxing, you unpack their boxes as she grows up. The story is quite heartwarming. I really recommend.”

Another user spoke fondly of the game sayingUnpacking tells a story without any real text and absolutely no dialogue, everything is in context cues. I felt genuine sadness for the invisible protagonist.”
