It’s all happening on PlayStation Plus, with several February arrivals having been unveiled.
Yesterday, the very reliable bilbill-kun posted his regular report via Dealabs leaking several of February’s extra and premium tier offerings.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is supposedly the month’s headliner; it’s great to finally see PlayStation adding some first-party titles.
It’s well worth a play if you haven’t already given it a go. Insomniac Games’ hit will reportedly be joined by Neva and Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown.

I can highly recommend Neva. This short and charming adventure has somewhat of a Studio Ghibli feel to it, with a few Hollow Knight flavourings added in for good measure.
The full extra and premium February line-up should be announced today unless, of course, it's delayed until tomorrow’s State of Play.
In the meantime though, I can tell you that PlayStation Plus has quietly gained a free new-gen upgrade for a certified banger.
Extra and Premium Tier Users Can New Enjoy Hollow Knight Natively on PS5
A PS5 version of Hollow Knight is now officially available for extra and premium tier users - an upgrade from the pre-existing PS4 version.
Hollow Knight, as I’m sure you know, is a stellar game, picking up an array of awards when it dropped back in 2017.

It failed to win big at Geoff Keighley’s The Game Awards, but it won GOTY at the Australian Games Awards and topped several year-end media lists.

It also garnered a Nintendo GOTY nomination at the Golden Joysticks as well as Best Debut BAFTA nod.
Hollow Knight’s PS5 upgrade doesn’t exactly add anything in the way of new content, but it does make for a smoother, more enjoyable experience.
It supports higher framerates, higher resolution, and adds additional effects, although Team Cherry hasn’t detailed those. I wonder if DualSense immersion has been boosted?
This is clearly, though, the best way to experience Hollow Knight if you’re yet to play it. It’s certainly a game that’s climbed my backlog given all of last year’s Silksong praise.
It’s important to note that Hollow Knight was once given away as a free game to PlayStation Plus’ essential tier subscribers.
Unfortunately, those users are not eligible to grab the new-gen upgrade.
The upgrade actually landed a couple of weeks ago, so its arrival on PlayStation Plus is a tad delayed but you know what they say, better late than never!
If February’s full extra and premium line-up is indeed announced today, we’ll be sure to bring that news to you.
