We’re sure we’re not the only ones feeling constantly confused by PlayStation Plus – one minute, it promises amazing games, the next, things are looking rocky. Fortunately, one of its latest free titles has allowed the service to redeem itself (again).

You may recall that, earlier this month, we reported on PlayStation Plus being off to a tricky start after it was revealed what games would be leaving. Then, as of yesterday, a surprise landed in our laps in the form of a leak of the first free game coming to March’s line up.

Not heard of Sifu? Then check out its combat system trailer!

Swings and roundabouts spring to mind.

Now we’re back to be quietly excited, with one of the newest games being a title we’ve had our eye on for ages. Sifu is a third-person experience with a lot of “tight Kung Fu” mechanics and cinematic flair.

“Predicting Sifu as a PS Plus title for the 24th time worked like a charm,” joked RushC2 on Reddit upon seeing the news. To which someone replied, “Even a broken clock is right two times a day.” There were also jokes about the game now becoming available because someone went and bought it full price.

Those who’ve been able to resist temptation and wait it out are feeling most smug right now, as this particular fan demonstrates. “I’ve delayed buying this every month since like October because I felt like it was a no brainer PS Plus title. Feeling proud of myself for being patient,” they shared.

Alright, rub it in for everyone who succumbed and paid for Sifu instead…!

According to Billbil-Kun on Twitter, the highly rated Steam title will come to PS Plus 5 March and at least be sticking around until the following month (we’re hoping for slightly longer than that, to be honest).

The official PS Plus announcement will be happening later today, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled for that announcement.
